I like to put these events on my calendar, giving myself a deadline to work toward in cleaning out my & my clients’ spaces. Hazardous Waste

Electronics
Date: Saturday, October 27th
Time: 8:30am- 2:30pm
Location: 751 Miller Drive, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175 (near the Leesburg Airport)
Most items are free to recycle, but some, including TVs & monitors require a fee to recycle. These range from $8 - $20 depending on the size. They also offer on-site hard drive destruction for $10.

Falls Church Recycling Extravaganza
Date: Saturday, October 13th, 2018
Time: 9am - 2pm
Location: Falls Church Recycling Center 217 Gordon Road, Falls Church, VA 22046
This is a truly comprehensive event, where you can bring just about anything, including textiles, electronics, hazardous materials & paper for shredding.

Arlington County________________________
E-Care Recycling Event
Date: Saturday, November 17, 2018
Time: 8:30am - 1pm
Location: 1425 N. Quincy Street (Across from Washington-Lee High School)
Also very comprehensive, this biannual Arlington Environmental Collection and Recycling Event ( allows Arlington residents to safely dispose of household hazardous materials and electronics and more. You can also bring old bikes which will be donated to Bikes for the World. (A $10 donation is also requested for bike donations to cover shipping costs)
